Pastor Search Committee Update

We are excited to announce Brother Dan Coe as our new pastor at FBC Alexandria. He and his family will be moving to Alexandria as soon as possible so please join us in welcoming Brother Dan, his wife Julia, and his children Olivia, Naomi, Micahiah and Josiah to our church and our community.

Personal Information: Brother Dan Coe is 40 years old and is married to Julia. They have four children:  Olivia 11, Naomi 9, Micahiah 4, Josiah 2.

Education: Brother Dan is currently a student in the Doctor of Ministry Program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also received a Master of Arts in Church Planting in May 2021. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from MTSU in December 2010.

Ministerial Experience: Brother Dan has served several years with the Baptist Conventions where he supervised a team of fellow laborers; served as teaching elder at a local congregation; led discipleship group of new believers and seekers; organized and facilitated opportunities for evangelism among an unreached people group; cast vision for and assisted in church multiplication efforts; studied and acquired local language during first term on field; and partnered with stateside fellowships to help increase engagement in the missionary task.

Hobbies: running, hiking, reading, Legos and Hot Wheels with his boys

Brother Dan was officially installed as our Pastor and handed the "keys to the church" October 1.

The whole community is invited to come to our annual October Fest. Of course, you don't need to register to attend but it would help us out for planning. Looking forward to seeing you Oct. 29th!
